prithee, what program and brush?
welll it was a graphite sketch. As I remember I painted over it in photoshop with an overlay layer, and a little bit of normal painting over the top of that. I think my brush was just a normal soft round on low opacity with the size and opacity set to pen pressure. Sorry I know that's a pretty confusing explanation
